I'm not condemning you, just making a suggestion to look more into a game you think has little worth. War of the Monsters is a title reminiscent in many ways of games such as Godzilla: Save the Earth.
#WAR OF THE MONSTERS 2 PLAYER PS4 1080P#
The new edition has a graphics binding scaled to 1080p resolution and supports Trophy. Next time, do some research before you criticize a fun game who to this day commands respect from us cheesy movie-loving fans. Originally released in 2003 on PlayStation 2 and PlayStation 4, the game is only available in digital form and can be purchased from PlayStation Store. We kaiju fans admit that our games are less than high quality most of the time, but this game is a proud exception. Allowing the player to even purposefully bring entire buildings down as a tactic to crush your enemy, to hurling trucks at hostile monsters as projectiles. And finally, War of the Monster's gameplay is hailed as having possibly the most entertaining mechanics ever achieved in a kaiju game.

So the cheap looking poster was purposeful. And the cover art was supposed to also reflect that era, if you look at the original King Kong poster of 1933 its clear they took inspiration from it. As far as the monster designs, the game's plot is set in the 1950's in which monster/alien films had rather simplistic designs, so this was completely on purpose. It came out a small 2 years after the classic Halo: Combat Evolved yet has comparable graphics despite having a much smaller budget. Just to let you know, the game came out in 2003, so slandering its graphics is a bit unfair.
